The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria CIFCFIN has appointed an accomplished Bank guru, Dr (Chief) Isa Egah Salifu as the new Ag Registrar/Chief Executive Officer CEO of the body.
In a press statement released on Sunday, issued by order of the Governing Council of the body, dated 2nd November, 2023, it congratulated the new helmsman for attaining this feat purely on merit and dint of hardwork.
Dr Salifu with unequalled records and wealth of experience spanned for over two decades both in the private and Banking sector, rose to become the Deputy General Manager, Corporate Banking Group, North Region and Head, PC/PSB of Eco Bank Nigeria Limited.
He is a member of prestigious Professional Bodies and holds several certifications, including FCNA, FCAI, FCFIP, FIMC, FCCI, FCCrFA, HCIB, and ACTI, CMC.
Aside his professional achievements, Dr Salifu had built a solid foundation as a philanthropist, community leader with passion for selfless services, that had earned him many chieftaincy titles both in his domain and outside, in Kogi state.

APPOINTMENT OF NEW Ag.REGISTRAR/CEO FOR THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF FORENSICS AND CERTIFIED FRAUD INVESTIGATORS OF NIGERIA- CIFCFIN.
Further to repositioning efforts at the Secretariat and the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN) in general, the Council of the Institute has approved the appointment of Dr Isa Egah Salifu, PhD as the new Ag. Registrar/CEO of the Institute.
Chief Isa Egah Salifu, PhD, is an accomplished professional with diverse educational and career achievements. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from ABU, Zaria, with Second Class Upper Division (1984), an MBA from ABU, Zaria (1990), an MSc in Technology Innovation and Development of SMEs from Ogun State University (1999), and a Ph.D. in Security and Strategic Studies from Nasarawa State University, Keffi (2021).
Dr Salifu’s 29-year career spanned various roles in financial institutions, including Ecobank Nigeria Limited, where he became Deputy General Manager overseeing Corporate Banking Group, North Region and PC/PSB, Nigeria. He is a member of prestigious professional bodies and holds several certifications, including FCNA, FCAI, FCFIP, FIMC, FCCI, FCCrFA, HCIB, and ACTI, CMC.
As a leader in the private sector before his appointment as Ag Registrar, Dr. Salifu was actively involved in professional and leadership roles in several spheres and is presently also the Chairman, FCT Chapter (of the CIFCFIN) and a member of the ANAN Committee on Education, Training and ICT Skills.
With a reputation for impeccable character, he is also an enthusiastic philanthropist and a double High Chief (Omachi Ejeh Dekina- Waalli and Akingbade of Ekinrin-Adde- Kabiyesi).
Dr Isa is expected to bring his rich vein of experience to bear in providing strategic leadership and guidance to the institute, overseeing administrative operations, training integrity, and policy implementation. He will establish and execute institutional strategies, ensuring efficient and innovative processes that drive the Institute in the next phase of our post-charter operations.
