The Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has sent a heartwarming yuletide greetings to the wonderful people of his Constituency.
In his felicitation message to mark this year’s Christmas celebration, the Deputy House while congratulating Christian faithfuls revealed that yuletide is a season of love and in demonstration of this virtue will be distributing items worth about two billion naira to Artisans, Women, Youths, Pressure Groups, Party Supporters and other deserving constituents in order to boost entrepreneurship and the local economy of his constituency.
According to a statement issued by the Media Office of the Deputy House Leader, among other items; cars, motorcycles, grinding engines, vulcanising machines, cooling sets, deep freezers, scientific kits, a grader, cobbling tools, sewing machines, hair dryers, etc shall be distributed at the ceremony which is bided to be performed by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The gesture is a continued effort of the sequential stewardship of the Federal Lawmaker as since his first Oath of office in 2019, not lesser than ten billion naira’s worth of human and social infrastructure has been extended to the area through his legislative participation and facilitation efforts.
Rep Halims urged citizens to reflect on the significance of Christmas as they traverse the length and breath of the Country, He emphasized on the need to share with the less privileged in all the festivity’s largesse, wished travellers all over the country journey mercies to and from their various destinations with a memorable Christmas and New Year Celebration.
