A month to the end of 2023 , Ministries , Department’s and Agencies of government are yet to receive capital funds meant to run each organisations for the year 2023.
Reliable sources close to these agencies through extensive and exhaustive investigations revealed that despite the remittance of over 40% by revenue generating agencies to the federal government, the statutory capital funds allocation had not been received as at November, 2023.
This negative development has stalled government activities in these agencies, except those that are revenue based and revenue generating agencies.
