Katsina state governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda,PhD has directed the construction firm handling the 24.396 kilometer Danja-Bazanga- Nahuce road to complete the project as promised.
The governor was speaking when he inspected the road awarded at N2.4Billion Naira under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project RAAMP.
The project inspection was part of activities marking the 100 days of Governor Radda’s administration.
The governor who expressed satisfaction with the level of work on site directed the consultants to ensure the construction firm adhered to specifications as stated in the contract terms.
Mallam Radda appealed to inhabitants of the 17 benefiting communities to guard the projects intended to improve their socio-economic well being.
Earlier, the Project Consultant, Sanusi Rufa’i told the Governor that the project which commenced in October last year 5 would be completed in 2024. He however said the project had reached 62 percent completion stage.
