Kogi State University Anyigba alumni has honored the first and second Executive Governor of Kogi state , Late Prince Abubakar Audu.
This was announced by the pioneer students of the university during the 20th anniversary re-union organised by the alumni of the Institution on Friday in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
The alumni eulogised the late former Kogi Governor as a great leader with the foresight to establish the Institution in 1999.
They prayed for the repose of the soul of the former governor, saying that he had left an indelible mark on the sands of time.
Responding on behalf of the former Kogi Governor, Prince Yerima Audu lauded the alumni for remembering hard work, selfless service and leadership with decorum.
He asked other well meaning individuals to take cue from the good gesture of the association, urging them to contribute their own quota to the continuous development of the university.
