The pioneer and former Registrar, Kogi State University Anyigba, Dr Raymond Yahaya Opega has been honored by the University alumni.
In a 20th reunion program held at Edge drive Hotel in Lokoja, the pioneer alumni association commended the contributions of the former Registrar to the development of the Institution.
They lauded the foresight and initiatives of the former Registrar that led to the continuous development of the school.
The Former Registrar who was represented by his son, Professor Aurelius Omali appreciated the efforts of the alumni for considering him worthy of award, saying good conducts and hardwork begets reward of this magnitude.
He thanked them for considering him worthy of the award, saying he also hold them beyond what they had done to him in his life sojourn.
