The Deputy House Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims yesterday visited a former Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Area, Hon. Hassan Yakubu Enape at his maternal home in Ejinya to commiserate with him over the loss of his mother.
While on the condolence visit, the Deputy House Leader ignited the mourners when he promised to situate a solar powered motorised borehole as well as tens of Solar street lights in the community to ameliorate their lack of access to potable water as well as boost security in the area.
Responding on behalf of the community, the paramount traditional ruler of the area, Awohi Ata (Ede) thanked the donor – Rep Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims for his kind intention towards the community as he hailed their son, Hon. Hassan Yakubu, on whose honour, the community will be getting the impactful infrastructure.
On his part, the Chief mourner who beyond being a former Local Government is a renowned political figure in Igala Land while thanking the Federal Lawmaker for his sympathies acknowledged the credibility of his representation at the National Assembly as he urged constituents to uphold their supports for him.

Other stakeholders who were on separate commiserations used the opportunity to make an appeal of elites consensus for Rep Halims’ aspirations in affirmation of his proven capacity to advance the socioeconomic status of Ankpa Federal Constituency in the period under review.
Thereafter, Rep. Halims deferred dusk and other programs to visit the family of Late Alhaji Jibrin Agbamu to console them. He described their patriarch’s death as personal loss and urged the bereaved to take solace in the simple lifestyle of the deceased as he prayed to Allah to grant him paradise.
