Hon Tunji Bello’s decision to give back to the society remained unwavering from his numerous philantrophic gesture that was crowned with the recent donation of 550 capacity hall to the Lagos state government located at the Lagos state university LASU to the consternation of many Nigerians.
The gesture described as most beneficial to the society and humanity at large , was executed to the benefits of the institution, community and society at large.
The Multi Billion Naria donation coming at a time when government at all levels is yearning for construction of public utilities to offset infrastructural gap prevalent in public schools, was lauded by both Lagos state government and public spirited individuals, corporate bodies.
Tunji a professional journalist appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as, Chief Executive officer / Executive Vice Chairman of Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission FCCPC has showed alot of wisdom in management of public entities, with the new wave of positive development in the agency.
One year down the line , after his appointment, Tunji Bello has demonstrated alot of willingness to transform the agency from mere nomenclature to active organization geared towards delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through effective and efficient consumer centered policies and programs that will change the policy thrust.
True to his words and matching words with actions , the new FCCPC leadership and administration has swinged into action through numerous oversights and visits to markets across the country to inundate itself and also carry out both immediate and on the spot assessment which led to making numerous seizures running into billions of naira in recent times as part of it’s mandate.
Tunji Bello led FCCPC has introduced numerous policies and programs that will not only protect Nigeria consumers , but enabling environment to freely participate in buying and selling among other transactions to protect the image of Nigerians and Nigeria, both within and outside the shores of the country.
Having reinforced and reinvigorated the monitoring department with digital enablement and procedure to reduce not only fraudulent activities against consumers , but ensure sane conducts against the sale of fake and adulterated items to hapless Nigerians.
With the recent review and monitoring of loan apps and operations in the country, no doubt, the new leadership of FCCPC is determined to regulate not only the monetary policy in the country, but it’s operations.
With determination, experience and exposure, no doubt the new leadership under Hon Tunji Bello will transform all facets of distribution and consumption in the country, within the shortest possible time.
