The Ag Vice Chancellor, University of Abuja Professor Aisha Maikudi has assumed duty after the end of the tenure of the former Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdulrasheed Na’Allah who was appointed in June, 2019.
In a ceremony held on Monday at the conference hall of the University in the presence of Principal officers and some senior members of staff of the institution, included a two volume hand over note presented by the the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdulrasheed Na’Allah to the Ag Vice Chancellor, Professor Aisha Maikudi.
Na’Allah appreciated the entire staff of the University for their unalloyed supports all through his term in office, that had occasioned the unparalleled and uneven development and achievements realized by his leadership.
He promised to continue to extend his supports to the development of the University during his sabbatical period in the institution.
He asked the University community to extend similar support and cooperation to the Ag Vice Chancellor, Professor Aisha Maikudi so as to take the University to greater heights.
Maikudi a 41 year old Professor of Law was one of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, before her appointment as Ag Vice Chancellor.
