The first engagement of His Excellency today was a Stakeholders Forum on the Zobe Water Supply Scheme Phase 1B Water Project with a consortium led by the Infrastructure Corporation (Infracorp).
The meeting took place at the Governors Lodge in Abuja.
The objective is to secure funding for sustainable development initiatives in Katsina State with particular focus on the funding of Zobe Water Scheme Phase 1B which will go a long way in providing portable drinking water covering over 10 Million water users.
Those that attended the meeting are the Managing Director of Infrastructure Corporation Dr. Lazarus Angbazo and representatives of Climate Fund Managers and Sanlam.
From the Katsina State government side were H E. Dikko Umaru Radda, Hon Jabiru Tsauri, COS, Government House, Hon Abdullahi Turaji PPS, Engineer Haroun Abba and the facilitator Alhaji Salisu Mamman others are Alhaji Hamza Faskari, Commissioner of Water Resources and Engr Tingling MD Katsina State Water Board.
