The Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, KSCOE, Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, has called on alumni of the prestigious college to support the school in all areas.
The Provost made the appeal while delivering his welcome speech at the gathering of alumnus of the college for their National Reunion in the Assembly Hall.
In his speech the administrator took his time to give details of all the accomplishments and challenges of the college, since his advent as the chief administrative of the school.
Dr. M.K. Ibrahim, admonished alumnus to be good ambassadors of the school. He also called on them to do all within their capacity to keep the flag of the college flying.
The National President of the association, Mr. Amali Ekwo, thanked the provost for hosting them.
He said it was a good thing coming back to their alma mata after graduating a long time ago. He added that the school has given them foundation in life and forever remains the home to all her alumnus.
Mr. Amali who said the welfare of the notable college is the basic concern of alumni, thanked the Provost for his developmental efforts.
The National president however urged the provost to always do more for the institution.
The National reunion of the Alumni association of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa commenced on Friday 11th, August with arrival of alumnus from Lagos, Jos, Abuja, Makurdi, Otukpo, Lokoja, Anyigba and other chapters too many to mention.
The alumnus matched down to the college sports pavilion to grace the grand finale of the 2023 provost cup after which they had their gala night.
The association walked round the college in their sport wears for sight seeing, and there after had their Annual General Meeting (AGM). The constitution of the body was reviewed at the meeting.
The alumnus departed for their various chapters on Sunday the 13th day of August, 2023
