The Olu of Ekirin Ade, Kabiyesi Oba Olu Bamibaiye Idowu, has commended the contributions of the new Akingbade of Ekirin Ade, Dr Chief Isa Salifu for his contributions over the years to the community and the entire state which occasioned his recognition as a title holder in the land.
He made this remarks during the conferment of Chieftaincy Title on the former Bank Executive on Saturday at the Baptist High school secondary school premises to mark the Ekirin Ade Day in Kogi state.
According to Oba Olu Bamibaiye his contributions both to the human and economic development of the town was a rallying point to the successes recorded by some prominent indigenes of the area.
He used the opportunity to solicit for more Supports from the new Akingbade of Ekirin Ade, stating that his recognition was evidenced of his humanitarian gestures.
Responding, the new Akingbade of Ekirin Ade, Dr Chief Isa Salifu described Ekirin Ade as his second home, having known the area for over 15 years and still counting.
“I have been friends of the ancient town since 2008 and to so many of its son’s and daughters and pledged to continue to support the area in all ramifications.”
He appreciated the Kabiyesi for recognising hardwork, diligence, dedication and community services, saying it will spur him to continue to do more to the area.
Dr Salifu promised to support the community in all areas of both human and community services, saying he will attract more developments.
