The Executive Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency, Malam Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, led a delegation including Former Governor of Sokoto State, HE Senator, Aliyu Wamakko, and other state executives from Sokoto to express sympathy over the passing of Hajiya Dada Yar’adua, the late matriarch of the Yar’adua family and mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua. Renowned Nigerian businessman and industrialist, Aliko Dangote, had arrived earlier to pay his respects.
The distinguished guests were received by the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON, at the State Government House.
The prominent figures, however, prayed to Allah (SWT) to grant Hajiya Dada Yar’adua eternal rest and admit her into Jannatul Firdaus. May He comfort the family, and give the good people of Katsina State the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
