We are deeply concerned about the alarming reports regarding Inspector Ismaila and his boys in Ejule, who are reportedly moving freely with dangerous weapons without facing any consequences from the authorities. The fact that such blatant disregard for the law is happening in the same hometown of Deputy Governor Elder Joel Oyibo is troubling. It raises serious questions about the rule of law and the responsibility of those in power to uphold justice and protect our land from criminals and thuggery activities.
The safety and security of the people should be the utmost priority of any government. It is unacceptable for individuals to roam freely with weapons, potentially endangering the lives of innocent citizens. The lack of action in this case raises suspicions of complicity on the part of those in positions of authority allowing the thugs and kidnappers to operate freely in those areas without arrest.
If the supposed home of a Deputy Governor is not safe then where else is save in Kogi State especially Kogi East. The state government and the state security agencies cannot claim ignorance of Ismaila activies with pictorial and videos evidence everywhere online.
This same group allegedly plotting to eliminate all the leaders and supporters SDP candidate in the last election, and many of our members already sustained injuries in the same community and enviros.
The Deputy Governor must prove he is not accomplice to this evil monsters ravaging our communities by taking action against Ismaila and his gang members.
We call for a thorough investigation into this matter and urge for swift and transparent action to address the issue of lawlessness and potential collusion with criminal activities. The community deserves to feel safe and protected, and it is imperative that those responsible for maintaining law and order act swiftly to restore trust and ensure justice prevails.
We stand firm in our commitment to upholding the principles of accountability, transparency, and the rule of law and such incidents must be addressed promptly and decisively.
