Gov. Bello recently dissolved the state executive council, retaining some members of cabinet, Aides, appointed Accountant General and Local Government Auditor and others.
The governor retained the following members of the council and aides;
1. The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs Ayoade Folashade Arike, PhD,( West)
2. Rtd Navy Commodore Jerry Omodara, State Security Adviser,( West)
3. Hon Sunday Faleke, Deputy Chief of Staff,( West)
4. Alh Oricha Umaru Shaibu, Director-General, Government House Administration,(Central)
5. Barr Mohammed Sanni Ibrahim, SAN, Attorney General and commissioner for Justice(Central),
6. Abubakar Bashir Mohammed, Commissioner for Solid Mineral and Natural Resources (West)
7. Kingsley Olorunfemi Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communication ( West)
8. Mohammed Ihiezue Abdulmutalib, Commissioner for Rural and Energy Development,(Central)
9. Asiru Idris Asiwaju, Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning ( West)
10. Abdulsalam Ozigi Momodu, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs (Central)

Not affected by the dissolution are all domestic staff to the governor all from the Central except the driver.
Similarly, governor Bello made new appointments of the following persons to fill the vital vacant positions in the state;

•From the information above, Kogi East with 9 local governments out of 21 in the state has five (5) appointments.
•Kogi West with seven (7) local governments has twelve (12) appointees.
•Kogi Central with five (5) local governments has sixteen (16) including KEY and VITAL appointments.
Between Muri and Bello, who is doing the agenda?
As if these were not enough, Senator from Kogi East, Jibril Isah Echocho was disgraced, humiliated and embarrassed by Bello’s thugs in Kogi state government house today for not winning his district for the APC while Bello and co lost their Presidential, Senatorial elections to the opposition but no one was bullied or humiliated including Bello.
We urge all Kogites to remain calm as the stolen mandate is temporal.
