As the new year drives into full swing, the women wing of the All Progressives Congress, guided by the amiable leadership qualities of Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile as her National Women Leader, held a New Year Party during the middle hours of January the 9th, 2024.
Through the National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress, the party announced plans to introduce 2024 Nationwide Empowerment Program (NEP), an Initiative aimed at positively impacting the life of *The Woman* within length of the nation: Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, the National Women Leader of the Party, during her opening address at the APC Women New Year Party, made the pronouncement.
Furthermore, the National Women Leader also revealed the intents and administrative plans for women and youths – an initiative ready to be set in motion by the administrative system of the party led by its national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
The National Women Leader pledged the party’s undivided commitment in addressing the needs of women, and assures for proper communicado.
As further disclosed by the National Women Leader, Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, she said that the party intends to additionally introduce the 774 Initiative: an initiative that aims at loudly sounding the voices of young women in politics and growing them in the sceme of things.
The National Women Leader highlighted diverse challenges faced in the advocacy of *The Woman* course: Implementation of project and programmes, and lack of inadequate fundings.
She said that, most especially, what hinders the progress of young women in politics for them to gain mentorship and other resources to propel their growth, is the lack of proper funding.
