The Chief Medical Director, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital and Chairman, Committee of Chief Medical Directors and Medical Directors of federal Tertiary Hospitals CCMDFTH, Professor Enem Bassey said instilling the best practices through recognition will be key to more performances in any organization.
Bassey who chaired the 2023 UATH Annual Staff Award in Gwagwalada on Thursday asked the Chief Medical Director to sustain the tempo , as it will be a veritable tool for maximum performance.
Enem Bassey promised to institute such laudable policies and programs through replication, stating that the committee was elated with performance of the CMD.
He urged the staffs of the hospital to rededicate themselves to the development of the tertiary health Institution, saying to whom much is given, much is expected.
Professor Bassey also urged other staffs not to feel ostracized, as they have also done well in their endeavors.
Earlier, the Chairman of of the Award, Dr Bawa said the award was unsolicited, uninformed and based on track records of performance of each of the staffs.
The overall best staff of the year goes to Engineer Bala Mangut, The Director of Works of the hospital.
Other departments of the hospital and staffs got various awards.
