Ujeju Ufedo Igala International (UUI) has issued a statement commending the efforts of Igala sons and daughters in the just concluded 2023 Guber Election and calling for the consolidation of Igala unity and a channel of strategy.
In the statement, UUI acknowledges the overwhelming support demonstrated by Igala people in the election, which it says is a testament to the strength of love and the desire for progress within the Igala community. However, the organization also expresses concern about the manipulation and unfair practices that marred the election outcome.
“The end result of the election revealed manipulation and unfair practices that undermined the will of the Igala people,” the statement reads. “This highlights the need for a channel of strategy to ensure that the voice of the Igala people is not only heard but also respected.”
UUI calls for the consolidation of Igala unity as a means of overcoming the challenges faced in the election. The organization urges Igala sons and daughters to stand together as one, fostering stronger bonds, promoting open dialogue, and encouraging active participation in decision-making processes.
In addition to consolidating unity, UUI also stresses the importance of developing a channel of strategy. The organization recommends that this strategy focus on empowering Igala leaders, promoting transparency, and ensuring that the interests of the Igala people are well-represented.
“A well-defined channel of strategy is essential for the Igala community to effectively navigate the political landscape,” the statement says. “With a well-defined channel of strategy, the Igala community can overcome the challenges they face and achieve their goals.”
UUI also calls for the building of stronger alliances with other communities and ethnic groups, the empowerment of Igala youth, and the embracing of cultural heritage as means of furthering Igala unity and progress.
“Moving forward, the Igala community must not lose hope,” the statement concludes. “By consolidating their unity and developing a channel of strategy, the Igala people can overcome the obstacles they face and work towards a brighter future for themselves and future generations.”
