The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) formally announces the commencement of its 2027 presidential campaign, with its Presidential candidate, Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, officially commissioning the Presidential campaign office in Abuja on Monday.
The Makinde/Daura Presidential campaign office serves as the national coordinating hub for the campaign’s administration of issue-based, people-driven campaign tailored to strengthen the party’s determination to ensure the victory of its candidate in the 2027 Presidential election.
The National Publicity Secretary of APM in a statement assures that the Makinde/Daura campaign will focus on solutions while presenting the candidate’s policy choices and proven record of governance to the electorate.
APM begins this journey with confidence, humility and an unwavering commitment to present Nigerians with a credible alternative and leadership capable of restoring hope, security, prosperity and national pride.
Since Governor Makinde and Alh. Lawan Daura emerged as APM’s Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates respectively, our Party has continued to witness massive surge of Nigerians as members and supporter, reflective of their confidence in the records of integrity and performance in public service.
Makinde’s candidacy offers the combination of competence, youthful energy, administrative experience and broad public acceptance required to build a safer, more prosperous, united and functional Nigeria.
In preparation for the campaign, our candidate embarked on extensive consultations with political leaders, stakeholders and communities across the country. These engagements aimed to understand the aspirations and concerns of Nigerians and develop a comprehensive national agenda capable of addressing the country’s most pressing challenges.
APM will in due course, unveil a comprehensive policy blueprint outlining practical and measurable solutions to the challenges confronting Nigerians and setting out Governor Makinde’s vision for a better-governed Nigeria.
The 2027 election therefore presents Nigerians with an opportunity to choose between renewed hopelessness represented by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu failed administration and an agenda aimed at resetting Nigeria to a nation that works under Engr. Makinde.
It is clear that Nigerians will not reward failure with another mandate. Instead, they will use their democratic power to vote in a competent, accountable and responsive leadership on the platform of the APM.
