The Vice Chancellor, University of Abuja now Yakubu Gowon University,Professor Fawehinmi has appealed to federal government to rejig the Youwin program and other entrepreneurship outlets to guarantee more opportunities and ensure self sustenance of Nigeria youths outside government engagements.
He made this remark on Thursday during the presentation of free books and lecture organised by the Federal Ministry of Finance in the university.
He applauded the Federal Government for sustaining the program, while appealing to the Ministry for more innovations on the program.
The Vice-Chancellor pleaded with government to consider the students of the University in all entrepreneurial programs considering their efforts at domesticating the program in the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor was represented by the Director of Centre for Entrepreneurship and Students Mentorship of the University, Professor Lateef Adeniran .
Highlights of the program included lectures and distribution of a Book on successful entrepreneurs around the world .
