The performance of JRB Construction company , a new indigenous road construction company has been commended by a pressure group in North Central, “Save Nigeria, under Renewed Hope Agenda. ”
The group in a statement issued by it’s protem leader , Abubakar Yusuf commended the Minister of Works , Dave Umahi for passing a vote of confidence on an indigenous contractor JRB, for satisfactorily handling the abandoned over the years Ogbomosho- Ilorin section road project.
He said the performance of JRB will encourage more participation and patronage of indigenous roads contractors in Nigeria as a vote of confidence by the works Minister.
Also the construction of remedial works along Abaji -Gwagwalada- Dikko road is also a pointer to the performance of JRB Construction company.
The ongoing remedial works on Giri- Zuba road , left lane will resolve the dilapidated section of the road been carried out by JRB
With these commendation, Yusuf appealed to the Works Minister, Engr Dave Umahi who believed strongly in performance and hardwork to consider JRB Construction company as one of the most high performance indigenous company, due for continuous patronage in Nigeria, and a conviction to continue to patronize indigenous contractors on road construction.
Ogbomosho- Ilorin section of the road was abandoned over the years due to poor execution by the previous contractors posing alot of danger and deaths along the corridor, that was revoked and re-awarded to JRB Construction company less than one year and completed.
They said the particular commendation of the Minister on the modern drainages will be a model to both indigenous and foreign road construction contractors in the country carried out by JRB.
The group said that it will continue to encourage and support JRB for quality and job specifications jobs execution for Nigeria’s roads by JRB and other indigenous and foreign road construction companies.
He said the 100 years duration of Nigerian roads been powered by the works Minister Engr Dave Umahi under the present administration of Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is realizable with good efforts.
He also commended the efforts of JRB contractors for attracting the Minister’s commendation and starting on a good foot , urging them to sustain the momentum and good tempo.
Yusuf lauded the machinery, supervisory and management of the JRB for their up and doing .
