The ancient Ankpa town has lost another of its prominent son , an ex police officer , Alhaji Idris Saba Akor.
Until his death, Akor was based in Kano and leaved most of his life there before his demise on Tuesday, after a brief illness.
A family statement jointly issued by the former Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC, Dr Kashim Akor NPOM, FNIM and Alhaji Yakubu Saba Akor confirmed the death of Alhaji Idris Saba Akor.
His remains will be interred at Egula- Enjema today, Wednesday, 15th, January, 2025.
“Ankpa has lost another illustrious son in the person of ALH Idris Sabah AKOR a retired Police Officer based in Kano
He died yesterday in Kano and the body is already at Ejegbo enroute to Egula Enjema for burial this morning Wednesday 15 ,January 2025.”
“May Allah SWT forgive his shortcomings and admit his soul into Aljanat Firdausi Amin Shumamin . Burial time is 9 am 15th Jan. 2025.”
