The Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC, Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha said the centre will collaborate with Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to diversify productivity in the Informal sector.
Dr Raji made this disclosure on Thursday during a courtesy visit to the Director General of the agency, Mr Wale Fasanya along with the management team.
The Director General maintained that the centre will be readily available for multiple collaborations in the areas of staff development, capacity building and judicious utilization, management of availement and resources allocated to it’s programs.
Dr Raji emphaised that the federal government was doing alot to provide enough fund for small scale businesses, but channeling it to address the needed situations was lacking , promising to introduce more ways to manage resources by the informal sector.
Mr Fasanya commended the efforts of the Director General, while congratulating him on his new appointment, promising more conducive working environment.
