An appeal has gone to the Executive Chairman, Gwagwalada Area Council, Honorable Abu Giri to extend provision of solar street lights through Sheik Hamdan, Almohass , Living Stone and other communities surrounding the area to reduce the incident of criminals and insecurity at nights.
While commending the Chairman for providing solar street lights to major streets of Gwagwalada, a member of Gwagwalada Extension Layout said the aim will be defeated when it is not extended to other areas.
Malam Abubakar Yusuf stated this on Thursday while observing that major and other streets of Gwagwalada town has been provided with solar street lights except the new area.
He described the provision of social amenities like Roads , Water , Light and the current ongoing provision of renewable energy through the provision of solar street lights as very crucial to the residents.
