Communities around off new market road under construction in Gwagwalada has asked the FCT Minister , Nyesom Wike to include Sheik Hamdan, Old Kutunku Road in the area.
Speaking on the ongoing inspection of Gwagwalada Roads under construction, the communities said the construction of the road will reduce heavy vehicular movement on the only market road , as well as create alternative route from the market to other adjoining villages.
While speaking on behalf of the communities , Malam Abubakar Yusuf on Thursday maintained that when constructed, will reduce the hardship been experienced by the people of the area during rainy and dry season.
The road is rendered impassable within the FCT during the rainy season , while the dry season bring along dusty weather creating all sorts of ailments to the residence of the area.
He appeal to the FCT During to reconsider the road as a matter of urgency to ease people’s movement around the area .
