Oyo state governor, APM Presidential candidate, Engr Seyi Makinde, and Bauchi State Governor, APM National leader, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir will be honored with an award of excellence from the Northern Patriotic Front, NPF.
The award will be presented to the two leaders during the 55th birthday ceremony of the APM National Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantale scheduled to hold in Abuja at A class on Sunday.
Makinde and Bala were distinguished for the award for consolidating Nigeria’s democracy through strong opposition using the Allied People’s Movement, APM as a platform.
While commeding them for distinguishing themselves at the subnational in the last seven years, stating that the duos made alot of infrastructural, human and economic development as topmost in their states.
The Northern Patriotic Front, NPF states that the award of excellence is in recognition of their selfless services in the last seven years both in Oyo and Bauchi State.
The group congratulated the two governors for providing the dividends of democracy in their various states without creed, religion and extraction.
They congratulated them for been at the forefront of Nigeria’s genuine quest for more development both at the national and subnational level .
