Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada is the current Senator representing Nassarawa West in the 10th Senate .
Before now, a strong opposition member to be reckon with, having won election through SDP after a keen contest in 2023, but later defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC on the demands of his people.
Wadada a household name in Nassarawa politics before then was a member of the House of Representatives making him a ranking member both at the green and red chamber.

At the peak of his political career , Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada was unanimously elected under the All Progressives Congress, APC to become the next governor of Nassarawa state purely on merit, contributions and massive investment in all areas of the state.
Known for constant attendance to plenary session , oversights, adhoc committees to the consternation of many Nigerians and his constituents through adequate contributions.
Senator Aliyu Wadada contributed to the social, economic , political development and evolution of Nassarawa with massive attraction of federal projects into his constituency and Nassarawa state.
His constant constituency projects execution and interactions made him stand tall among the previous representatives and former political leaders from the area.
Wadada despite detecting from SDP to APC at the senate became the darling of the people of Nasarawa State in the next dispensation, to continue the development strides embarked upon by the previous administration.
