The APM Oyo South senatorial candidate, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide Odidiomo, has rolled out completed, ongoing and proposed constituency projects worth over ₦1 billion across Oyo South Senatorial District.
According to his media aide, Tolu Mustapha, the projects include 10 digital learning centres, boreholes, an ICT centre and a proposed 50-bed health centre. The beneficiary schools include Baptist Secondary School, Liberty Road; Eleyele Grammar School; Adifase High School; Bashorun Ogunmola Grammar School; Community High School, Ekotedo; Peoples Girls Grammar School, Molete; Ibadan Boys High School; Army Barracks Grammar School; Our Lady of Apostles; and African Church Grammar School, Apata.
The digital learning centres are designed to promote modern education, digital skills, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities. Odidiomo said, “While others are busy in the market, I am busy building the future of your children.”
The projects also include boreholes in Ward 10, Ido LGA and Ward 9, Ibadan South-West, as well as a proposed 50-bed health centre in Ido and an ICT centre in Bako, Ido. The Anfaani ICT project, valued at over ₦200 million, is also nearing completion.
Mustapha said the combined value of the projects exceeds ₦1 billion and reflects Odidiomo’s focus on education, healthcare, digital development and economic opportunities. He added that a special committee had audited previously facilitated projects to assess their condition and identify those requiring rehabilitation.
“The essence of representation is impact. It is about identifying the needs of the people, deploying resources strategically and ensuring that the benefits get directly to the communities,” Mustapha said.
He added that more projects are expected, with greater attention to Ibarapaland and other rural and underserved communities. According to him, Odidiomo’s experience in representation positions him to pursue a broader Senate agenda focused on infrastructure, opportunities and the wellbeing of Oyo South in 2027.
