Member representing Yagba East/West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, RT Hon Leke Joseph Abejide, has congratulated his former running mate, Dr. Omede Idris, on his birthday, describing him as a loyal and dependable political associate.
Abejide, who was the African Democratic Congress governorship candidate in the 2023 Kogi State election, praised Omede for his leadership qualities, professional expertise and contributions to their shared political aspirations.
In a statement issued by the lawmaker’s Special Adviser on Public Communications, Bashiru Abdul Mohammed (BAM), ANIPR described Omede’s value to their political partnership as “inestimable.”
He also commended Omede’s leadership credentials, noting that his skills and expertise earned him recognition during his tenure as President of the Nigerian Medical Association.
Abejide and Omede contested the 2023 Kogi governorship election on the ADC platform, with Omede serving as Abejide’s running mate.
