The Dr David Olofu Campaign Council has approved the appointments of additional Directors to pilot the affairs of the campaign as the 2027 election approaches.
Those appointed into the newly created directorates are Group Captain Steve Adah – Security and Intelligence, Bashir Hassan – Election Management and Situation Room, Honourable Dan Atayi has been moved from the directorate of New Media to Door2Door as Director while Lawrence Okoh take charge of the New media as the new director, Chief Oga Ekwu – Director Legal and Barrister Jacob Ogwuche as his Deputy.
Others appointed are Honourable Ajumi Igomu – Deputy Director, Door2Door, Johnson Adeh, Deputy Director – Security and Intelligence, Chief Donald Agida – Director, Training, Pastor Ali Ujor and Honourable Igoche Gabriel, Deputy Directors – Election Management and Situation Room.
Earlier, the Chairman of Dr David Olofu’s Campaign Council, Sir John Ngbede, and the Director-General, Chief Chris Adaba Abah, have announced the appointment of several individuals to key positions in the campaign organization.
The appointments approve are:

– Honourable Sunday Aboh (Boy Lenge) Deputy Director, YouthMobilisation Honourable Evelyn Okwe – Director, Women Mobilisation
– Honourable Ramat Yusuf – Deputy Director, Women Mobilisation

The following individuals were also appointed as Special Assistants to the Chairman of the Campaign Council:

All the appointee would be inaugurated on Wednesday 3rd September, 2026 by 10 am prompt.
The appointments which were with immediate effects were signed by Dr. Adakole Elijah, Secretary to the council.
