The reported pelting of All Progressives Congress (APC) campaigners by Nigerians in Nasarawa State, just days after APC leaders were booed in Osun State last Saturday comes as a further confirmation that Nigerians are done with the APC and cannot wait to vote out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu due to his abysmal failures in office.
The widespread public distaste against the APC also show that the APC has so hurt Nigerians that it would find it difficult to command any genuine audience during the upcoming campaigns or gain the statutorily required 25% votes in most of the states of the federation.
Contrast to disposition of the citizens towards the APC and President Tinubu to the hero’s treatment Nigerians give to our party, the APM and our presidential candidate, Engr Seyi Makinde across the states of the federation.
Nigerians are moving towards Engr. Makinde as the credible alternative to the failed President Tinubu given Makinde’s sterling performance as the governor of Oyo State in the last seven and half years.
Nigerians are determined to vote in Seyi Makinde to replicate the wonders he had done in Oyo State at the national level. He embodies the yearnings of millions of Nigerians to reset Nigeria from its current comatose state under Tinubu, to a nation that truly works; a Nigeria where all are safe, free and happy; where leaders are accountable and accessible, where the views of citizens are respected and their skills, vision and hard work valued.
That is why Nigerians from all walks of life, across ethnic, religious and party divides are coalescing for the victory of APM in the 2027 Presidential election.
