It was historic and a period of sober reflections, as family, friends , well wishers and neighbors gathered in Anyigba in kogi state to remember Late Alhaji Mamman Dantalle who died on June , 3rd, 1987, 39 years ago.
The event which took place at his family residence in Anyigba witnessed dignataries from all walks of life who trooped into the area to mark the occasion.
The auspicious event held on Wednesday June 3 , 2026 attracted Islamic scholars , politicians, Educationists, from far and near to grace the family preparation for the occasion.
The National Chairman, Allied People’s Movement, APM,Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, the only surviving eldest son among many others was on ground to grace the occasion.
Untill his death over three decades ago, Alhaji Mamman Dantalle was a great entrepreneur who established the first palm oil industry in the old Benue state , aside the one owned by the state government.
He was also into supplies, buying and selling of grains covering the old Benue , Kwara , Plateau , old Anambara state .
He was deeply engaged in the provision of scholarships to many Nigerians across the communities through Quranic and conventional education during his lifetime.
This was different from providing interventions to the less privileged in the society during his life time.
The legacies of community service, provision for the less privileged in the society has been the source of practice and encouragement to the children who took after him .
As we celebrate his peaceful transition many years ago , we prayed that Almighty God will continue to provide brightness in his grave years, resting place.

As we marked the commemoration of his death, it is our prayers that the people he left behind will continue to replicate his good deeds while on earth .
