The Deputy House Leader, Federal House of Representatives, Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims was declared winner , Ankpa federal constituency primary election in Kogi state conducted by the All progressives Congress, APC.
In a primary election conducted and administered by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC , on Saturday , he was declared winner after the process .
Halims who hail from Ankpa local government area will be returned for the third time to the National Assembly.
In a congratulatory message to the federal lawmaker, the people described the victory as well deserved.
Also in his message, The National Chairman of the Kogi East Ododo/Halims Progressive Movement (KEOHPM)-2027, the apex campaign team of Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims, PhD, Hon. Aminu Haruna, Onupi, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims, PhD, on his well-deserved victory in the just concluded APC primary election.
He described the victory as a “people’s victory,” reflecting the confidence, trust, and overwhelming support the people of Ankpa Federal Constituency continue to place in his leadership, dedication, and commitment to grassroots development.
According to him, the outcome of the primary election is not only a triumph for the APC family, but also a strong indication of the people’s desire for continuity, effective representation, and purposeful leadership.
He further stated that the victory marks another significant step towards greater development, unity, and progress for Ankpa Federal Constituency and Nigeria at large.
The Chairman commended party stakeholders, delegates, youths, women, and supporters across the constituency for their peaceful conduct, loyalty, and steadfast commitment throughout the electoral process.
He also expressed confidence that Rt. Hon. Halims will continue to deliver quality representation and the dividends of democracy to the people.
He prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the lawmaker as he continues his journey of service to humanity and national development.
