The turbanining ceremony of the Chief Security Officer CSO to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Usman Shugaba has been put off indefinitely from Friday, April 3.
An announcement personally signed by him on Friday said this was out of tight schedules with Mr President on a trip to Plateau, Lagos and Ogun states.
A new date will be announced in due course, while regretting any inconveniences to invited guests and well wishers .
The statement are as follows..

“I wish to express my profound gratitude to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli CFR, for the distinguished honour of conferring upon me the revered traditional title of Magayaƙin Zazzau. This recognition is deeply humbling, and I remain sincerely appreciative.”
“I regret to inform you that the inauguration ceremony earlier scheduled for Friday, 3rd April 2026, has been postponed due to pressing official engagements, which require my presence alongside His Excellency, the President His Excellency Asiwaju GCFR, on a working visit to Plateau, Lagos, and Ogun States. A new date for the ceremony will be communicated in due course.”
