The Deputy House Leader, Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has dedicated his Doctorate Degree, (Honoris Causa) PhD on Legislative Studies to the House of Representatives and it’s members .
Rt Honorable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali in a plenary session during the week made the assertion while presenting the plaque at the floor of the House.
According to Halims , he used the opportunity to appreciate the leadership of the House and members for considering him worthy of the current position he occupied.
He particularly expressed his indebtedness and gratitude to the speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Honorable Abbas Tajudeen for extending his olive branch to work with him in the current 10th House .
While promising to continue to be loyal to the House , he prayed for more years to the members in life in all endeavors.
Responding during the presentation, The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Honorable Tajudeen Abbas appreciated the leadership of the Prince Abubakar Audu University, PAAU, Anyigba for considering one of them worthy .
He jokingly stated , “with this new feat , you are now ahead of us .”
Highlights of the plenary included the display of the Honoris Causa PhD plaque by the Deputy House Leader and Majority leader of the House , Professor Julius Ihonvbere at the floor .
