As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu , Kogi state government, family and political associates including well wishers mark ten years of the death of former Kogi Governor, Late Prince Abubakar Audu, a call has gone to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to immortalize his late friend by installing his first son , Mohammed Audu as the next Kogi Governor.
Fall out of honor , respect and encomium on the former Late Kogi Governor, Abubakar Audu, a media consultant , Abubakar Yusuf said the best form of honor is to seek political solution to the late sage political endeavors.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu knows how courageous and committed the late former Kogi Governor was to him and their political ideas , we are not unaware that he made one of the son Minister and daughter, a top government official, but to completely honor Late Prince Abubakar Audu, install Mohammed Audu, his first son as Kogi Governor.”
The decision will be more wiser , more honorable, more deserving to the late governor’s family. Abubakar said .
“We know President Tinubu can do it , let the political will done on him to honor his bossom friend.”
*President Tinubu was not unaware how Late Prince Abubakar Audu won a keenly contested governorship election in Kogi in 2016 and suddenly died , why denying the immediate family of the offer .” He restated.
He asked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ponder on the suggestion and consider on the way forward out of Kogi current political logjam, stating that the best honor for Late Prince Abubakar Audu is to politically inherit his votes in 2016 by his first son , Mohammed Audu.
“Kogi will become stable when the day light robbery carried out in 2016 is redressed in the next Kogi governorship election. “
