The Deputy House Leader, House of Representatives, Rt Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, Halims has resuscitated the abandoned health center located at Ojoku Community, Ankpa Local Government Area.
The federal lawmaker in addition to the rehabilitation provided a functional borehole and solar street lights to the hospital.
This was in line with his vision and mission to provide health care closer to the people, through provision of primary health facility.
He restated the commitment to providing secondary and tertiary health institution through the establishment of Federal Medical Centre, Ankpa among many others.
While reassuring the people of his area not to pay lip service to health care , he asked the people of the area to take advantage of the newly refurbished PHC to assess health services.

“Health, they say, is wealth. This parlance, I do not take for granted.”
” In addition to the provision of this whole resuscitation of the Primary Health Care Centre, Ojoku which boasts of a functional borehole and twenty four house power through solar installations; my resolve towards providing easy access to healthcare for our people remains intact.”
“Recall, that in 2021, I sponsored a bill for the establishment of a Federal Medical Centre Ankpa and among other provisions, the bill proposed the Zonal Hospital Ankpa as the takeoff site.”
“With sustained energy and my privilege(s) in the 10th Assembly, this drive is on a renewed course and God willing, it will see the light of the day.”
“Access to healthcare is not a luxury; it’s a social right that guarantees a healthy society.”
” Inability to access regular healthcare as a result of government negligence and inadequate CSR is a profound concern to me and God willing, I’ll continue to use my good office and the opportunities therein to make it easy and affordable for our people.”
