The Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has condoled with the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the passing away of his beloved father, the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsanni, on Monday after a brief illness.
The Federal Lawmaker, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muhammed Nasiru, urged Governor Ododo and the entire family to be consoled by the fact that their patriarch lived a memorably fulfilled life as a community leader and one who has raised illustrious children.
Rep Halims added that Alhaji Ahmed had returned to Allah in a peaceful transition and fulfilment, having produced responsible children among whom is Governor Ododo, who it can be said is destined to uphold the family’s name for good as evident in his selfless service to Kogi State in particular and Nigeria at large.
The People’s Honourable prayed that the Almighty Allah will grant His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as well as the entire people of Kogi State the fortitude to bear the loss. Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims further noted that death is an inevitable journey upon all creation, stressing that what matters most is one’s ending as He wished Pa Ahmed eternal rest in Aljanatul firdaws.
