The former Director General, National Productivity Centre, NPC, Dr Kashim Akor NPOM,FNIM. has joined millions of Nigerians to mourn the death of Nigeria immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR who died in London .
Dr Kashim Akor in a statement on Tuesday described the late President as a patriotic leader who served the country with all his experience, wisdom and capacity.
The former Director General stated that for many years that he worked closely with the late former President , he had learnt a lot from his leadership style and approach to life generally.
Late President Muhammadu Buhari ensured agencies of government carried out their statutory functions without any interference or denial of funds. Dr Akor noted in particular, his personal attendance at successive National Productivity Day celebration over the years and the conferment of National Productivity order of Merit (NPOM) on deserving Nigerians and organizations, to underscore the importance he attaches to the issue of Productivity improvement in the Nigerian economy.
While praying for the repose of the soul of the late leader , Dr Kashim Akor stressed that the country has lost one of its finest leader in the history of the country.
He pray that Almighty Allah will forgive his shortcomings and reward him with Aljanatul firdaus and grant the family the fortitude to bear this great loss.
