I wouldn’t have mind replying your piece but it will look political insult, if we fail to adjust your reasonings to reality on ground based on your watery allegations that are inconsequential to the current situations at hand.
I have never on earth met Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan representing the good people of Kogi Central at the National Assembly in my life.
But have read and heard little about her from afar before her marriage to Comrade Chief Uduaghan her husband and her struggle for the same Ajaokuta steel company at the earliest tenure of Sir Yahaya Bello the Govenor of kogi state, on social media and National dailies.
She was at the forefront of the struggle for the resucitation of the steel company even when the company was at the mist of controversy over who owns it, between federal government, state government etc.
She furnished the public with alot of information that position Ajaokuta to where it’s today, to be recognized by government for her resuscitation today by federal government, but the same Buhari goverment that close the company down in 1983 and came back in 2014 with change mantra refused to take it up after wasteless eight years in power.
Reading your paragraph three of your piece and I quote you…
*Despite her barrage of misplaced accusations, the minister responded with composure and tact. He calmly reminded her that the budget in question predates his tenure and adheres to established statutory provisions, emphasizing that nothing presented was new—it was simply an age-old budget framework*
When I read this your piece as quoted I just imagine wonderfully what kind of innovation indeed is this and from who to whom, if am not mistaken the honourable Minister attended a well schooled institution in the UK loaded with global and new modern ways of doing things from the analogue period with a digital budget presentation and defence, why would a minister who schooled abroad be presenting and out dated or predated agelong budget at this present millennium and you said we should not asked questions, why are they not modernised to fit into the current present situation?
Why would your UK breed minister be presenting and defending agelong budget that predates even the ministers time according to your submission, if this is true we demand an explanation, we can’t accept the analogue budgeting system to the current digital one with his level of exposure. We demand refunds of our dues to this Nation.
Again at your closing paragraph sir, I quote you , ”
*If Senator Natasha is genuinely committed to the steel industry’s revival, she should rally behind the Minister of Steel Development, supporting initiatives that will bring Nigeria’s steel sector back to life. The task at hand is far too critical to be reduced to a sideshow*
*Natasha, it’s time to trade the theatrics for impact. Join the cruise of progress, not drama*
From this last paragraph of yours really shows how ignorant you already are about Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan stands and long before coming to the National Assembly and I had refer you to go read more about her works on this in National dailies including international commentaries on her disposition on the steel company.
I will equally challenge you to roll out publicly to us the plan of the current doings on the Ajaokuta Master plan if at all you have one and incase you don’t have let me educate you a little on how it should be and not the paper tiggerissim and paparisisng photos we see all over.
Ajaoukuta as an international market in waiting doesnt have plans for the following now or in the near future that we know or can see.
Do they have a functional five star Hotel or modern hospitality to host the foreign expatriates as it stands now?
Do they have a functional standard health facilities for both expatriates and our local staffs incase of incacities.
Do they have functional and standard educational system to accomodate expatriates families and the local staffs
Do Ajaokuta has a standard and functional ware house to keep left over products for safety for security.
Do they have coordinated security system in the entire Ajaokuta to prevent any breach of security that might Arise at any time, Markets, model shops, parks etc etc. All this are necessary ingredients that would woe would be investor to invest and as it stands now nothing of such is happening in Ajaoukuta apart from the media harpes on the steel we see hourly online.
At last before I rest my case Distinguish Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan stands as one of the kogi state best at the National Assembly as testified by Thisday Newspaper /Arise TV Award last night in Lagos where she was honoured as Senator of the year along side her colleague Senator Comrade Adams Oshiomole.
She stands for now the best Ambassador this democratic environment ever produced from kogi state with a handful of some of them.
She has always mean business to her constituents in the Central we have known than others, we can point on infrastructure development she has brought to her people before now and still ongoing, Infact she is the pride of kogites at the moment calling the bluffs interns of positive development work.
*Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan , has trade time to the theatrics for impact has demonstrated by the joint Award of Thisday Newspaper /Arise TV cruise of progress, along with her colleague last night in Lagos at best Senator of the year and not as a dramatic personae seeking for attention as you have described her, she keeps sailing great and making us proud all the time Sir*
Thanks and God bless you sir.
