After our plenary, I decorated my Escort Commander, Sani Shehu Malumfashi, with his new rank, Superintendent of Police (SP).
The Nigeria Police Force had weeks ago promoted Malumfashi from Deputy Superintendent of Police to Superintendent of Police (SP).
The Commander of the Presidential Escort, ACP Bamidele Akande, witnessed the decoration of Malumfashi with his new rank.
Born into the royal family of Malumfashi in Katsina State, SP Malumfashi has consistently exemplified gallantry, dedication and excellence throughout his career.
Malumfashi, who joined the NPF in 2016, has undergone numerous specialised trainings and holds degrees in Microbiology (ABU, Zaria) and Political Science (Federal University, Dutsin-Ma).
I congratulate SP Malumfashi on this well-deserved promotion and wish him continued success in serving our nation.
