It was the turn of the people with disabilities in Ankpa Federal Constituency , as the Deputy Leader and member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State at the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has donated six hundred thousand naira as season support to thirty destitute/ women of his indigenous community,
The event which took place in Angwa in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State was held on Friday.
While reiterating his commitment to the welfare of all and sundry, he stated people living with disabilities deserved special attention, to avoid stigmatisation and been ostracized.
He congratulated them for remaining steadfast despite their physically challenged , stating that efforts will be put in place to continue to support them .
Earlier , some community leaders commended the federal lawmaker for the selfless services.
Highlights of the occasion included distribution of the cash of .6M to the vulnerable.
