Chairman of the memorial lecture’s planning committee Honorable David Inah Ogu in a press statement released in Abuja said “the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume and other eminent Nigerians including the Executive Governor of Kogi State Ahmed Usman Ododo are set to honor the late icon at a memorial lecture in Abuja”.
“Leadership gaps in Nigeria, a reflection on the Dr. Steven Achema approach” is the title of the lecture to be delivered by former minister of information Professor Jerry Gana”.
It’s been 25 years of pain for the igala nation and indeed Nigeria following the tragic death of a selfless leader and dogged politician, the late Dr. Steven Makoji Achema who died in active service while serving as senior special assistant to the then president Olusegun Obasanjo on labour matters.
