The headquarters of Etsako East Local Government Council, Agenebode, has been thrown into chaos as DSS arrests PDP leaders ahead of the Edo State Governorship election.
DSS members involved in this act must be reminded that the ballot, not the bullet, will decide the outcome of the election. If the APC is as popular as they claim, why are voters being arrested by the DSS, which is supposed to be neutral in a democratic election? Let us not paint Etsako East red with blood; the people will fight back.
The people have urged President Bola Tinubu to immediately order DSS members out of the Council headquarters to avoid the destruction of life and property in Etsako East local government, as PDP leaders and supporters may be forced to resort to self-defence by defending their fundamental human rights to vote in the Edo State Governorship election.
