5. Built the House of Assembly Complex.
6. Built Commissioner’s Quarters.
7. Built the House of Assembly quarters.
8. Established the Graphics newspaper.
9. Established Kogi State Transport Company, also called Kogi Travellers.
10. Built office complexes for all the ministries in Lokoja.
11. Constructed 2500 km roads in all 21 Local Government Areas.
12. Built Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, which was later upgraded by Gov. Ibrahim Idris to an ultramodern stadium in Lokoja.
13. Transformation of Lokoja township with asphalt roads, street lights, aesthetic roundabouts, e.t.c.
14. Construction of inter township roads.
15. Over 75 electrification scheme.
16. Over 50 water projects.
17. Pioneered the first ultramodern state Liasion office in Abuja.
18. Built Confluence Beach Hotel, Lokoja.
19. Establishment of the Obajana cement plant.
20. Establishment of the Government Girls Secondary School, Adankolo, on a student exchange programme.
21. Affiliation of Kogi State University to Morgan State University, Baltimore, United States of America, which had over seven. professors from different universities in the U.S. lecturing at Kogi State University, Anyigba.
All this and many more, all in a single tenure of four years with an accumulative allocation of 19 billion the state receives within that four-year period.
Under his watch, Kogi was ranked as the fastest-developing state in Nigeria.
He was the first governor in the history of Nigeria to become chairman, Nigerian Governor’s Forum from the opposition party, and he also won awards as the best governor in Nigeria even though he was in the opposition.
