The decision of Senator Natasha Akpoti-/ Uduaghan representing Kogi Central in the 10th Senate to tackle Basic Education, through adequate provision of needed facilities from the foundation level cannot be overemphasized.
The idea muted by kogi Central senator , Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is symbolic considering the importance of digital advancement around the world with Nigeria not in exception, and the launching of the program at Abdulazeez Attah Memorial College, Okene (AAMCO), that had served as foundation college not only to the central , kogi state but Nigeria at large.
Her initiatives and desire to impart and impact basic techniques and technology ideas in the early level which was encouraged the Kogi Central Senator to set up the centre at AAMCO, will drive the new innovation not only in the senatorial district , but gradually trickled down to other senatorial district and the state at large .
The adventure of catching them young will not only galvanize technological advancement, but create an enabling environment for school children at primary and secondary level to take to vocational education or as the case may be, particularly the exploration of , science and technology.
The new area is capable of creating job opportunities to the early beneficiaries and also guarantee the exploitation of other areas that bordered on self sustenance, reliance among many others.
The technical innovation along with ongoing Infrastructural development, renovation and reconstruction of both Basic Education and Secondary School by the Kogi Central Senator was capable bringing the development of Education to the door step of the people of the area.
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has attracted both local and international attention to the area through partnerships, collaboration and retention with both indigenous and multinational to drive the socioeconomic development of the area.
For a virile nation also desire a robust political , social and economic environment, Senator Akpoti- Uduaghan recently employed some of her constituents as aides and will be placed on salary to be able to mitigate the rising cost of living in the communities.
Harmonizing all developmental projects and initiatives provided by the Kogi Central Senator including the already commendable robust representation, legislation to drive the areas development, no doubt is capable of improving the age long denial witnessed by the people.
Akpoti- Uduaghan has set the ball rolling for good governance and leadership with human face , from the foregoing, there will be light at the end of tunnel by the end of her tenure in 2027, that will desire a clamour for relection in the next dispensation.
