A two time member , Kogi State House Assembly, Hon Abdullahi Zekeri is dead.
Zekeri who died in the early hours of Saturday was also the immediate past Ankpa local government chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, before defecting to Social Democratic Party SDP towards November, 2023 Kogi governorship election.
A grassroot politician of high repute , Zekeri contributed to the development of Ankpa 11 and Ankpa local government during his stint.
He combined politics and business to drive the economy of the local government, state and at the national level .
Zekeri has been buried according to Islamic rites in his country home , Ojoku , Ankpa local government area of kogi state.
