The Executive Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD CON, alongside members of the state executive council this afternoon paid a condolence visit to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, following the passing of the Vice President’s mother-in-law, Hajia Maryam Albishir.
The condolence visit took place at Kano State Government House, where Governor Radda was warmly received by Vice President Shettima, accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo.
Governor Radda on behalf of the government and good people of Katsina state expressed his deepest sympathies. He offered earnest prayers for the departed soul of Hajia Maryam Albishir, invoking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness. He prayed for the Almighty to grant her eternal rest and for her family to find strength and solace during this difficult time.
Vice President Shettima, however expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Radda for his visit and kind words.
