The Minister of State , Police Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Suleiman -Ibrahim fsi is launching the Renewed Hope Town Hall community policing program in Lafia Nasssarawa state , Capital.
The program tagged “Renewed Hope Police Agenda” will be launched today , Wednesday, 26th, June, 2024.
The aim of the Town Hall meeting is to provide direct platform for engagement between the Ministry of Police Affairs, citizens and other critical policing stakeholders across the country.
The objective is to also foster a transparent dialogue, share insights on ongoing policing reforms, gather valuable feedback from citizens on strengthening policing in general,but also specific to a community policing strategy.
The overall outcome of the Renewed Hope community policing program is the development of a robust community policing policy and it’s implementation framework among others.
The Launch is part of President Tinubu administration’s determination “to deploy the entire machinery of state power to ensure the security of our people and property in a just and democratic society.”
