Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Umar Gwajo Gwajo. The deceased is the father of his Special Adviser on Political Matters and former Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly.
Governor Radda described Alhaji Gwajo Gwajo’s passing as a great loss and offered his heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Yau Umar Gwajo Gwajo, and his entire family.
The Governor, along with the Deputy Governor, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, and members of the State Executive Council, joined hundreds of mourners at Alhaji Gwajo Gwajo’s burial ceremony held yesterday in Mai’adua town.
Governor Radda offered prayers for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to grant him Aljanatul Firdausi (the highest level of Paradise).
“The passing of Alhaji Gwajo Gwajo is a profound loss,” stated Governor Radda. “Our hearts go out to Alhaji Yau Umar Gwajo Gwajo and his family during this difficult time. May they find strength and solace in the memories they shared with their beloved patriarch.”
